About Us:

The overall goal of Glory Women Fellowship is to empower women to find healing, strength, and forgiveness through Gods grace and His Word the Bible. It is a Christian fellowship ministry for women that have been through and or affected by grief, loss & trauma, whether the trauma has happen to them directly or indirectly. This restoration happens through the grace of God, resting in Him and through forgiveness. We come together in fellowship both online and in person through bible studies, prayer, book studies, bible art journaling, the grief / trauma healing program, workshops and social events.

We are a non-denominational Women’s ministry that is run by volunteers, who have a deep love for Christ Jesus.  Many of the programs and groups we offer are free or of little charge to cover the costs of supplies for the event/ workshop. Any money we make after covering cost goes right back into supporting Women's Healing Ministry.  Please check out our announcement and events tab to see what is happening currently.  We are not professional counselors or therapist. If you are in need of such services, we will do our best to connect you to those services with your area.

If you are interested in hosting a grief/ trauma healing workshop / program at your church or for your women’s group please contact us directly through this website on our contact page or email us at [email protected] We also offer training to become a bible based trauma healing facilitator, partnering with the American Bible Society trauma healing program. For more information regarding this or any of our programs, speaking engagements, and training please contact us at [email protected]

Why the name "Glory Women" Fellowship: In all things we are to give glory to God. In hard times and in struggles, God uses all things for good. Our trials help to refine us, restore us and grow us deeper in faith in our walk with Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 10:31 "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." During the storms of life this can be a very difficult thing to do. James 1:2-4 ...1 Peter 5:10...1 Thessalonians 5:18

Why I love this type of ministry:

As a trauma survivor myself, I have experienced God's protection, provision and grace during my great time of need and after the trauma once the healing process began. I am not the same person I was before the trauma but God has transformed, comforted and healed the wounds of my heart. My life is Full of Joy now because of Him.

The stages of grief that are associated with trauma are not an easy process to go through. They are full of emotions:

Why did this happening to me? feeling alone in the pain like no one cares or is there. There is anger, sadness and loss of hope. There can be a lack of understanding from those around the situation. These are all valid and normal responses to trauma in the world. It would seem easier just to push past the trauma but that does not bring healing.  It only stuffs the trauma deeper into the mind/ body and can lead to denial & health issues.  The world would say just forget it and move on or that you will get over it.

But that is not what God wants for us. As Christians, as Believers in Jesus Christ, God wants to walk alongside us, to hear us, to vent our emotions to Him, to comfort us and transform our pain. The trauma healing program from the American Bible Trauma Society,  will give you the tools you need to begin the healing process and lean back into God for strengthen, hope & forgiveness. Recovery does not just happen over night. It's a process with no time limit on grief. Through Christ Jesus one can begin the process of true healing & forgiveness. - Luna Carter

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.

My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Our Statement of Faith:

"one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." Ephesians 4:5-6 NIV

We believe in the one true living God that is three in one.

Consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that only through Jesus we can be saved.

" If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." Romans 10:9-10 NIV
